ASKA HPF-54 High Pass Filter

These 54MHz high pass filter attenuate (remove) noise in the sub-band section of the cable spectrum. This filter can also be used to eliminate or restrict user access to the sub-band return frequencies.

They are commonly used to remove unwanted noise from cable television that is caused by interference, or they are used by cable installers to prevent access to unencrypted cable television channels which use the lower frequencies.
