Wire splice and repair kit. Heat shrink tubing with connectors. For 16 GA wire or small size, quick fix for damage or cut control cable.
A heat source is required. This can be a propane or butane torch, lighter, or electric heat gun. Wires must be clean.
- Slip shrink tubing over cable.
- Crimp butt or F connector on wire.
- Center tubing over connector and heat, beginning at the center working towards the end.
- When the tubing shrinks to shape and sealant flows from the ends, the splice is complete.
