The 2202IFD pass DC power from all outputs to the input (or in the opposite direction). Thus all receivers can supply LNB power. Care should be taken to ensure the input of a receiver will not be damaged by power from another receiver. Reverse powering protection is provided in many receivers and systems. These splitters are particularly useful where several multi-switches are combined together as there is no 0.8V drop across the diodes. Channel Master satellite IF multi-switches include reverse powering protection. Not intended to split satellite signals.
