Install a multi-line modular jack anywhere in your home. Remove top cover from jack assembly and position bottom section against wall or baseboard so telephone wire runs through base. Strip 3" of outer jacket from the wire in your wall. Strip 1/2" of insulation from each colored wire. Loosen terminal screws on jack and connect phone jack to your wiring. Tighten screws on jacks. Replace cover.
