Cut rectangular shaped hole in wall 1 1/4 X 4" and space parts (formed pieces outward)so that the tapped holes in center correspond to holes on flush socket base. Tighten screws of brackets (adjustable for walls 1/4" to 1" thick) until the brackets are clamped tightly to wall. After Flush Socket base is installed plate will cover hole and brackets.
