Scotchlok UR2 Connectors ("Red buttons"), are used for general butt splicing with 2 or 3 wires 19-26 AWG air core with maximum insulation O.D. of .066". This product is designed for butt splicing voice and data communication cables with solid copper single-conductor wire. "U" contact in the button clamps down on the wire, strips the insulation, and grips the conductors in a gas-tight connection. The connectors are filled with corrosion-resistant sealant at the factory to protect the connection against air and moisture. Product manufacturer may vary. 25 Count Pack

Splicing Instructions:

Hold wire ends parallel for 1" and clip off even. Do not strip insulation.
Hold connector with button side down and insert wires all the way into ports.
Crimp the button onto the wires using a 3M Scotchlok hand tool.
