Used in high input suburban areas to overcome cable loss, etc (using approximately 150' of RG-6/U cable).

In some metropolitan areas Winegard has determined that the addition of digital sister stations may overdrive the input level on higher gain pre-amps. The HDP-269 has been designed specifically for the SquareShooter SS-1000 antenna to help overcome the digital dropouts associated with over amplification.
