Channel Master CM-7778HD Amplify+ Adjustable Gain Preamplifier for Professionals, Part # CM-7778HD

Amplify+ is an outdoor preamplifier designed for mast-mounting with the TV antenna(s). Professional installers may choose options for High gain, Low gain, FM signal blocking and band-specific dual antenna use if required.
Unlike the consumer-ready Amplify product, Amplify+ does not include a USB powering option for indoor use.

Outdoor Heavy-Duty Housing

Amplify+ is constructed of a die-cast metal housing with weatherproof ports to support outdoor installations in extreme weather conditions.

Adjustable Amplification

Amplify+ provides adjustable settings that allow the installer to select the appropriate gain required for a specific installation scenario, eliminating the potential issues encountered from either too much or too little gain. The internal switch can be placed at either a High or Low setting.

Adjustable FM Trap

Amplify+ provides a trap mechanism to block unwanted FM Radio signals from FM-enabled commercial TV antennas, which can cause interference with UHF and VHF television signals. Pass-through of FM signals can be enabled or disabled via an internal switch.

LTE Filtering

Like the consumer-ready Amplify product, Amplify+ provides LTE signal filtering. The proliferation of LTE signal towers and connected LTE devices are a growing cause of intermittent disruption of over-the-air broadcast television signals. These disruptions can result in weak signals, pixilation or even channel loss, and can be especially disruptive when an amplifier is used with a TV antenna.

Excellent at the $99.95 Price
Bought this about a week ago for $99.95 and I see that in just one week the price has been jacked up 20% to $119.95. At that price point I'd try the Radio Shack Antenna-Mounted High-Gain Signal Amplifier which is now back in stock for $59.99. Having said that, I am totally pleased with my Channel Master 7778 HD at the $99.95 price point. I read some good comments about it before purchasing it. Given that the Radio Shack product was out of stock I decided to get the CM 7778 HD. It has been a good decision.Over the air channels that previously were received as "good" signal now are received at "excellent" signal strength. That's most of my channels. A few channels struggled to come in before install and would break up and read as "poor" or "fair" now come in "good." I use the high gain setting. There is not much gain difference between low and high. WIsh it was designed so that four screws didn't have to be removed to switch gain but not that big of a deal. Mine is attic mounted
